Bolesławiec Pottery Festival takes place every August. This summer festival is very popular and brings many visitors from around the world. Everything happens at the Town Hall square and surrounding streets. You can buy ceramic goods, sculptures, traditional Polish food, take part in workshops, concerts and other events. The tradition of pottery making in the region of Bolesławiec goes back to 1380. There is also a flea market where you are able to get some old stuff like Nazi’s helmets, old guns, books etc. This year it was my second visit there, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be back there next year again 🙂
