The day when winter turned to spring

The Owl Mountains.
It supposed to be the first springy hike of 2017, but… the weather had a different plan.
So for the first part of the day it really looked like winter – quite a lot of snow, in some spots over 30-40 cm!
Luckily for us, after few hours we could smell the spring, the sun was doing its job 🙂

Vivid lights in Sydney

The Vivid Sydney Festival is about lights, music and ideas. It has grown into the largest of its kind in the world and it’s insanely popular.
Many places gets more crowds than New Years Eve celebration! If you happen to visit Sydney between 27 May to 18 June make sure you go to the festival during the mid-week when crowds won’t be as intense. Also, bring warm clothes – it’s the middle of the winter in Sydney – temperature at night can easily drop below 10°C.
