Winter has come 🙂
Beautiful Polish golden autumn. Have a look!
Smrk is the highest mountain in the Czech part of the Jizera Mountains, 1124 meters above the sea level.
It was one of the longest winter hikes I’ve ever done in the Karkonosze Mountains. We walked with my brother about 33 km, from 7 am to 7:30 pm.
It was totally spontaneous.
W tym roku The Wandering Path dołącza do Wielkiej Orkiestry Świątecznej Pomocy 🙂

Happy 2018 everyone!
For the second year in a row I spent the New Year’s Eve hiking!
This time the weather wasn’t exactly in our favour. However there is nothing to regret! I didn’t bring my tripod because it would be useless in a 100 km/h wind and I wanted to go as lightweight as possible. So there was only a 35 mm lens with D610, pushed to ISO 25600 😉
A very quick up and down hike – 6am start in Karpacz (Dziki Wodospad) and 10am finish at the same spot. I didn’t get to the top of Śnieżka, because the path was very icy and full of melting snow. Anyway I was lucky enough to get a few minutes of amazing light!
It was mostly a very rainy and foggy month… with the first signs of autumn.
Summer mix of everything.
Summer vibes 🙂
That day was a typical example of a false weather forecast. It supposed to be cloudy with only 10-15% chance for a sunshine… Ok, it was true until we reached the altitude of approximately 1250 meters. From there, everything changed – luckily for us! 🙂
It was a great day in the mountains. -8°C and foggy in the valleys, but perfectly clear and sunny from approx 1300 meters above sea level.
Being above the clouds is amazing!
