When I lived in Sydney, the Blue Mountains National Park used to my number one “get-away” destination.
It offers absolutely fantastic scenery and excellent hiking trails. Hiking in the Blue Mountains usually means going down the gorges – some of the gorges are as deep as 760 metres! It is like going back in time to the Jurassic era

No need to go far to be amazed

I am very happy for all the places I have got to explore in my life so far, but because of that I somehow realized that you do not need to go far to have your breath taken away.
Those landscapes are pretty much in my hometown, minutes away from the main roads 🙂
Shame there was quite a bit of light pollution on the horizon… Enjoy!

Oh… and that smell of canola flowers – I love it!

The day when winter turned to spring

The Owl Mountains.
It supposed to be the first springy hike of 2017, but… the weather had a different plan.
So for the first part of the day it really looked like winter – quite a lot of snow, in some spots over 30-40 cm!
Luckily for us, after few hours we could smell the spring, the sun was doing its job 🙂
