Mount Kosciuszko is located 520 km from Sydney, approx. 6 hrs drive. The route leads through Goulburn, Canberra, Cooma and Jindabyne. First part of the road from Sydney to Canberra is really boring, nothing interesting on the way. We stopped for an Easter lunch in Canberra – Polish style with sausages, pork pate, eggs and cakes! After the capital, scenery becomes more interesting. By Cooma you can tell you’re in the mountains. We stayed overnight in Jindabyne, which lays by the lake that shares the name with this little town. Water, mountains and autumn colors create spectacular views… so stay tuned for next post!
